Member Discounts

The following nurseries/garden centres kindly offer discounts to club members, the first three on production of a valid membership card and the last two (which are online only) by entering the code during checkout:

There is also a link here to information on when to plant & sow 66 different types of fruit, veg & herbs: Growing Calendar kindly provided by Wyevale Garden Centres who are also generously donating a special prize for our members-only class in this year’s annual show on 10th August. The prize to be chosen by the winner will be either: Rowlinson Box Store or: Forest Dip Treated Garden Storage Box. Definitely worth giving your fuchsias an extra feed!

Hollybush Garden Centre has changed its system & members now need to apply for a Community Card (not Loyalty Card) in store to obtain their 5% discount (garden & pet shop only, not valid for concessions, special offers or net lines). You will need to produce your current club membership card & proof of identity.

  • Plant Hunters’ Fairs
    Throughout the year Plant Hunters’ Fairs hold specialist plant fairs at lovely gardens and locations from Preston to Birmingham and The Wirral to the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many highly respected nurseries can be found at these fairs and they make a great visit for gardeners.

  • Open Gardens
    Many villages and towns hold open garden events details of events are listed by County here in the National Directory of Open Gardens.
  • Staffordshire Association of Garden Guilds
    The association has in excess of 30 gardening guild/club members. They hold regular inter guild/club competitions and shows each year.
  • National Garden Scheme (Yellow Book Gardens)
    A national scheme where individuals open their gardens to the public in aid of charities supported by the scheme. Details of the gardens open are available on their website.
