Village Open Gardens Weekend 15th & 16th June 2019
We are delighted to welcome you to visit eleven of the beautiful gardens in the villages of Cannock Wood and Gentleshaw, in Cannock Chase AONB, several with wonderful views due to their elevated position. They range from large to small, from well-established (but always evolving!) to newly developing, and there are five which are opening for the first time. We hope you will enjoy looking round them all, perhaps pausing for refreshments which are available at three of the gardens. Net proceeds divided equally between the Village Hall and the Gardening Club; there is a plant sales stall at one of the gardens plus a display of linen threads that have been hand dyed using a selection of flowers, leaves & berries, with examples of the equipment and methods used. We are very grateful to everybody who is willing to invite others into their gardens to support this event.
Cost: £5.00 adults covers both days, accompanied under 16s free. Programmes are available on the day from the Village Hall car park (and some gardens). Please use our contact page if you have any queries or ring 01543 877973.
